I had heard about The Black Keys through Kings of Leon as they had supported KOL on a few tours, but never on any of the legs that I seen, so when they did their own UK tour, Alan and I were keen to see them.
The place was jammed-packed and although I never seen much (due to being a confirmed shorty), the sound these guys made was phenomenal! Just the 2 guys, Dan and Pat (plus the odd auxiliary musician) – pretty powerful stuff.
This was before they had commercial success in the UK with the likes of Lonely Boy, Gold on the Ceiling etc, so it was great to see such massive support from an enthusiastic Glaswegian crowd!
