We had always wanted to holiday in the Devon/Cornwall area and this was the year for it!
We drove all the way down and stayed in Paignton, Devon. The place is so lovely and laid back and the weather was fantastic.
Torquay is just next to Paignton and we spent a lot of time there. It was like being on the Mediterranean!
We also visited Penzance and had a traditional cornish pasty for lunch!
Whilst down there, we took a day trip to Land’s End, because we would have kicked ourselves if we hadn’t! It was beautiful there too and we had a Devon Cream Tea overlooking the sea at the southernmost tip of Britain! When in Rome…!
