Kraków, Poland – Apr 2005

Updated: Apr 14, 2018

I went to Kraków with work for a long weekend with my colleagues from work as a thanks for the work we had done the previous year.

We toured the city and saw the Ghetto areas from WII and also all the damaged Synagogues. It was very sad. We also visited the Wawel Royal Castle .

I found this city to be very pretty.

During our time there, Pope John Paul II, sadly died. As he was originally the Cardinal for the city, everywhere you looked there were little tea-light candles it was a beautiful tribute to him.

Despite the the very sombre tone to the weekend, we tried to make the best of it and still had a great time.
